The Gingerbread Man

The Gingerbread Man
By: Jim Aylesworth

(Traditional Literature)

This book tells the story of the gingerbread man.  An older couple made the gingerbread man and when they opened the stove to peek the gingerbread man escaped and ran as fast as he could out of the house.  He ran all the way to the river, where a fox offered to give him a ride over tot eh other side.  The gingerbread agreed and jumped on the fox's back, as the water got ginger the fox told the gingerbread to hop on his nose.  When the gingerbread did this the fox acted quick and ate the gingerbread all up!
