A miller lied to the kind and told him how his daughter could spin straw into gold. The king called the girl and locked her in a tower with a spinning wheel and straw and demanded she spin all the hay into gold by morning. She became so upset since she had no idea how to complete such a task. A little creature appears and promise to spin the hay into gold if she would give him her necklace. On the second night he came back and did the same thing, only this time for her ring. On the third night she had nothing left to give him, so he made her promise she would give her first born. The king was so impressed he married the girl, and when they had their first born child, the create returned. The queen was upset and frightened. The imp agreed that if she could guess his name in three days he would leave her alone. She failed at first, but later succeeded.
