Hello Mrs. Piggle-Wiggle

Hello Mrs. Piggle-Wiggle
By: Betty MacDonald

(Fantasy)

Mrs. Piggle Wiggle created cures for different tasks that the children in the book did not want to do.  Mary Lou hated waching dishes, and Kitty hates making the beds, so Mrs. Piggle Wiggle makes both tasks a fun game and a race.  Hubert won’t pick up his toys, she cured him by leaving him alone with his toys until he is unable to leave his room.  Molly had trouble with imprudence, Penelope the parrot was equally as rude, giving Molly a taste of her own medicine.  Dick Thompson refused to share anything.  A special tool kit known as a “selfishness kit” labels everything as Dick’s property, causing the kids to make fun of him which leads him to become embarrassed.  Bobby, Larry and Susan don’t want to go to bed, so they are allowed to stay up as late until they start suffering from insomnia and can’t function during the day.  Allen was a slow eater, which is taken care of by providing a special kit made of super small dishes.
