Long ago a women lived alone in the country with 3 children. The day of their grandmother's birthday the mother leaves the children alone and wouldn't return home until late. She told them to close the door and latch it at dusk. An old wolf lived nearby and saw the mother leave. At dusk he disguised himself as an old women, knocking on the door, and saying it was "Po Po". children explained how their mother went to visit her and the wolf acted surprised, having no idea what they were talking about. Eventually the children let the wolf in and as soon as he walked in the door, he blew out the candle.They all went to bed and that is when Shang noticed the wolfs tail and claws. Shang was clever and offered to pull the wolf up in a basket to go and pick Ginkko nuts. When they had the wolf at the top they dropped the basket and the wolf fell and broke his heart and died. The children then went to sleep. the next day they told their mom about the "Po Po" that came to visit.
